We welcome candidates to apply for the role of HR Data & Insights Advisor for two specialist units that work across five force areas to protect communities from the threats of serious organised crime and terrorism.

In this role you will be responsible for undertaking the collection, analysis and reporting of people and workforce data for CTPSE and SEROCU, including providing inputs into national programmes.  In doing this you will inform the people strategy for the units, and enable key decision making.

If successful you will be responsible for preparing and presenting data, including undertaking projects in support of people initiatives or specific challenges (e.g. related to diversity, inclusion and wellbeing). This includes report writing to potentially senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate should have a good standard of education in a relevant subject, and should also be experienced in using data analysis and statistical methodology to present and interpret data; experience of working in HR is not essential. You should also have proven communication skills, and have a high degree of computer literacy.

This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you may occasionally be required to travel for business purposes mainly across the south east region and occasionally throughout the UK.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will require a full UK driving licence.

Security is of paramount importance to us due to the nature of the role. You need to be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past five years.  Exemptions apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.  You will be required to successfully pass and maintain the relevant security clearance in order to perform the role.

You can find more information about security vetting here.
