Are you looking for a career path into Project Management?

 

Joining the ICT Portfolio Management Office (PMO) will help you in that journey.  The ICT PMO provides a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of organisational change and providing assurance and guidance on our portfolio of projects and programmes, as well as leading in department performance reporting.

 

We are looking for a PMO Analyst who can join our established team and hit the ground running with their knowledge and expertise of the governance around projects, programmes.   We are looking for a confident facilitator and data analyst who can lead on Assurance Reviews, Lessons Learned and other project process with a wider range of stakeholders.  Someone who can build relationships with the project management community and help projects run smoothly.  

 

  • Can you demonstrate an established career in Portfolio Management Office or have an understanding of Projects and Programmes in a large organisation?
  • Can you demonstrate your understanding of structured project management frameworks and industry recognised approaches such as PRINCE 2?
  • Can you use SharePoint for workflow and document control
  • Can you demonstrate outstanding communication skills with all levels of the organisation?

 

The role is home based, but travel to the office is required to attend meeting and workshops.  This is on an ad-hoc basis, but therefore the successful candidate must have capability to travel to different locations across both Forces. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working; public transport may not be available or suitable at these times. For this reason a full UK driving licence is considered essential.
