In this busy role you will be the first point of contact between the department and its customers, consultants and contractors in arranging for the implementation of day to day maintenance works and urgent repairs to operational properties and domestic accommodation, responding appropriately to requests for information and advice.

The successful candidate will have excellent telephone communication skills with the ability to relay technical information effectively and with confidence. Excellent customer service skills are required with attention to detail. You will be IT literate in Microsoft Office applications and have experience in dealing with large volumes of orders for work and invoice reconciliation. The ability to work under pressure is essential along with being able to prioritise your workload. Some knowledge of building work or property maintenance is desirable but not essential.
