INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

In this role you will manage the day to day supervision of administration staff within Criminal Justice including Enquiry Officers, providing high quality customer focused service. Ensuring the department functions efficiently and effectively, you will manage workloads and ensure that the interface between the Police and external contacts is supportive of the swift administration of justice and is compliant with policing and procedures.

You will have a good standard of education including excellent numeric and literacy skills, with previous experience in a supervisory role within a customer focused environment. Experience of analysing and managing performance, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written is considered essential, together with proven time management and organisational skills. Previous experience of working in a team and problem solving with minimal referral to management is required together with negotiation and influencing skills. You will have intermediate experience of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) together with a full driving licence as capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly.

The hours to be worked are:-

One in eight Saturdays to be worked.

Alternative weeks of 0700-1500 and 0900 – 1700

When a Saturday is worked a Rest Day is on the following Monday.
