CTPSE has an exciting opportunity to become an armed operative on one of their surveillance teams.
We are welcoming applications from currently authorised firearms officers (with a valid Advanced Driving Qualification), who hold (or who have previously held) a Q1 Mobile Surveillance Qualification, to join us in a full time permanent role
You will undertake covert, mobile, technical and foot surveillance in order to obtain intelligence and evidence, undertaking covert surveillance as authorised under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 and Human Rights legislation. You will also debrief covert surveillance operations on a daily basis ensuring evidential logs are accurate.

Please note that this role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you may be required to travel for business purposes mainly across the south east region and occasionally throughout the UK.
Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary for the successful candidate to obtain and maintain vetting level SC together with a number of enhanced security checks. In order to achieve this, you must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.
