Technical Lead (Kidlington or Netley)
Location is Kidlington or Netley In this exciting role, you will provide a comprehensive technical understanding of one or more core shared systems and facilitate its ongoing maintenance and development through quality interactions across the forces. You will support the Product Manager in delivering the product roadmap, including key system integrations and automations, whilst fostering an environment where compliance and data integrity are always top priorities. The role has overall responsibility for the technical configuration requirements of the system. New technologies and alternative ways of working are transforming the way we protect our communities and bring people to justice. These roles present a fantastic opportunity to play a vital part in delivering better systems and products, which help our officers and staff to “walk the digital beat”. The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- A strong technical background with understanding of system configuration approaches and architecture
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to translate technical language into user-friendly concepts
- Great relationship building skills, able to work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous involvement in digital or technical innovation and the desire to maintain industry awareness and knowledge
