This role is 18 hours per week. 

In this Contact Management Resource Planner role you will be responsible for planning and scheduling staff duties, using the workforce management technology, to ensure that resources meet forecasted business demand profiles in order to provide effective and efficient service delivery.  You will manage long term and short notice abstractions in order to maintain resilience levels, revising schedules to meet demand whilst complying with working time regulations, health and safety legislation, Force policy, police regulations and police staff terms and conditions.

 

You will provide mentoring and leadership to Real Time Analysts as well as expert advice to line managers and the Senior Leadership Team where appropriate.

 

The successful applicant will have excellent IT skills (including use of Word and Excel to an intermediate level), proven leadership experience and a proven ability to negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict through effective communication. Previous experience of resource management using workforce management systems would be desirable.
