Two vacancies

In this interesting role you will have oversight and coordinate a multi-agency response to missing and exploitation cases to ensure information provided to operational police officers is timely, in live time and escalate incidents as appropriate. You will also undertake office based enquiries and maintain a consistent approach to all missing and exploitation cases with the objective of reducing the likelihood of harm and supporting criminal prosecutions.  The role will involve multi-agency working as well as attending internal and external meetings on behalf of the Hub and undertaking office based enquiries. 

You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to forge positive relationships at all levels both inside and outside of the Force. You will have proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting demands and cases along with the ability to acquire a basic understanding of the law and Force /Local Police Area policy and procedures.  You will need to have good analytical skills along with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages including word and outlook.  

Along with all other posts in the Force CID, Intelligence and Specialist Operations departments this role will require an enhanced level of vetting. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake the established psychological screening process.
