Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers who can assist with the transport of our puppies and young dogs. The dogs will vary in age from 8 weeks to 12 months old. The main role of our Puppy Transport Assistant is to assist in the movement of our puppies across the Hampshire and Thames Valley force areas. All of the puppies who are brought into the Puppy Development Programme are sourced from a number of breeders around the UK. When the puppies are due to be allocated to Puppy Socialisers they need collecting from their breeder and transported to our Dog Training Centre in Sulhamstead, ready for allocation to a Puppy Socialiser. Once the puppies are living with Puppy Socialisers, we bring the puppies into our Training Centre for regular residential training and assessments. The puppies often need collecting from and returning to their Puppy Socialisers who are located across the Hampshire and Thames Valley force areas.

The role will usually require attendance on a Monday and Thursday at our Training Centre in Sulhamstead.
