Applications are invited from substantive Constables or Detective Constables for the post of PC/DC Digital Tactical Advisor within the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU).

You will provide tactical digital advice and expertise for ROCU capabilities, working with, operations, intelligence development and investigations. You will support, review and advise officers and staff of intelligence and evidential opportunities maximising conventional, proactive, overt/covert and emerging digital tactics.

 You will have a good working knowledge of modern day policing, with an understanding of covert investigations and proven investigative skills.IT experience and working in the cyber and digital environment together with knowledge of the practical challenges this presents. You will also require the ability to work under pressure and excellent communication skills.

This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. This may include travel across the UK and is not limited to the south east. You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home. You must be prepared to be security cleared to an enhanced level.
