Thames Valley Police is looking for a talented manager to lead a diverse team of communication experts. As Digital and Creative Services Manager your portfolio will be diverse, including social media, web design, graphic design, photography, corporate events and responsibility for our force museum. Your team is part of the Corporate Communications department which is responsible for all internal and external communications and engagement for the largest non-metropolitan police force in England and Wales.   

We already have an online community of over 600,000 and 8,000 people attended our force Open Day in 2017. So you can see that the reach of the role is substantial and this is an opportunity to make a real impact in supporting the policing of Thames Valley (Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire): to keep people safe, prevent harm and protect the most vulnerable in our society. 

You don’t have to be an expert in all the areas you manage – your team are all specialists in their fields – but you have to be willing to broaden your expertise, facilitate the development of great products, and lead this great team. 

You will be based in Thames Valley Police HQ South, Kidlington.  

This role is available on a full time permanent basis or on a fixed term contract for 18 months. For more information please visit our website.

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice.
