We are looking for a suitably qualified Security Manager to work within Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTP SE). You will develop, implement, manage and lead on all issues relating to the protection, integrity and security of the people, the buildings and the infrastructure for CTP SE.

You will prepare reports as required on matters of integrity and security, including covert operations for senior leaders including Chief Officers. You will advise upon, implement, manage and maintain security measures and contingency plans for CTP SE. You will liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to agree and enforce the protection arrangements for operational security particularly in respect of joint operations.

The successful post holder will be accredited and hold a current SIA Security Supervisor Licence. You will have proven experience of working within a complex legislative environment where covert and intrusive operations are performed. Current or very recent experience of working in a secure environment handling confidential sensitive and secret intelligence whilst accredited to manage security and risk are essential. Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills is a must.

This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. This may include travel across the UK and is not limited to the south east. You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home. You must be prepared to be security cleared to an enhanced level.
