We are excited to advertise this unique opportunity as the Senior Change Communications and Engagement Officer, with a 24 month Fixed Term Contract in the Corporate Communications department.

In this role you will work on our high priority change programmes impacting on our people and operations. You will coordinate, develop, deliver and evaluate high quality communications and engagement activity to inform, engage and support our people and stakeholders through change.

The role is instrumental to ensuring the successful journey though change for Thames Valley Police in line with the force’s vision, priorities and delivery plan. This will involve extensive internal stakeholder engagement, specialist advice and management of complex messages across programmes and audiences.

You will also be required to manage and coordinate delivery working with others so experienced in communications project management and delivery, briefing, problem solving and with good attention to detail.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as proven skills in working on your own initiative. You will need proven experience of developing and delivering effective change management communications strategies.
