The Thames Valley Local Resilience Forum (TVLRF) is the multi-agency forum through a wide range of organisations collectively work to meet their duties under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. The partnership includes Category 1 Responders (e.g. blue lights and local authorities), Category 2 Responders (e.g. utility providers and transport operators) and non-Category Responders (e.g. Military and Government).

In this interesting role you will provide comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative support, undertake specific project work and give advice to both internal and external stakeholders and support to the LRF Manager.

You will have proven decision making and problem solving skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and experience that enables you to work in a demanding administrative role. You will also need to have excellent communication skills to promote professional working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You should also have knowledge or willingness to understand the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP).

You must have capability to travel to different locations across the Force and Regionally and undertake all assignments in a timely manner, being available to work flexibly with the potential for occasional evening and weekends, where required (for this reason a full UK driving licence is essential).

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice.
