We welcome candidates to apply for the role of Regional Recruitment Specialist for two specialist units that work across five force areas to protect communities from the threats of serious organised crime and terrorism.

In this role you will lead and oversee recruitment activity for Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) and the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU).  You will work with manager and leaders across the units to deliver effective and efficient recruitment and resourcing activity in line with business priorities and needs.

In this role you will work with hiring manager to develop recruitment strategies, ensuring best practice is adopted wherever possible and championing inclusion to ensure equal opportunities for all. You will also manage the relationship with key recruitment stakeholders, and provide regular reports and insights in order to inform business planning.

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified to Level 5 (or equivalent) and have experience of working to deliver recruitment, resourcing, or similar activities. There is potential for study support to be provided.  You will have strong decision making and problem solving skills, and will have a proven ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders.

This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you may occasionally be required to travel for business purposes mainly across the south east region and occasionally throughout the UK.
