The role

  • Supporting the Local Police Area (LPA) with investigation of local priority offences
  • Identifying offenders and crime pattern analysis
  • Identify opportunities for crime reduction
  • Maintain crime data integrity
  • Provide a quality service to victims and witnesses of crime

The essentials

  • Good standard of education, including Maths and English (Grade 9-4/A-C/Level 2)
  • Ability to learn and understand criminal justice processes within first six months
  • Good IT skills and effective communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Capability to travel to different locations for training and operational purposes and undertake all assignments in a timely manner

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:00; Fridays 08:00 to 15:30 (subject to LPA requirements). No shift working.
