In this role, you will take care of the administration of fob access and issuing of ID cards for TVP personnel and visitors, checking bona fides in accordance with Force Policy and liaising with nominated departmental contacts to obtain relevant authorisation. You will sort all incoming mail, internal & external, ready for collection by departments from the post room. You will act as a point of contact for deliveries via courier into HQ South. You will provide assistance to HQ departments in the sending of items externally via courier including the maintenance of records such as DX items and courier invoices to ensure appropriate recharging. You will act as a point of contact when the Facilities Support Team Leader is unavailable, dealing with queries and liaising with the Team Leader on their return. You will provide help and advice to members of staff in relation to postal related queries, to ensure best practice is followed around the Force. 

You will be IT literate, including recent experience of using Microsoft packages. You will have the ability to communicate at all levels within a diverse customer focussed environment. As this is a physically active role, you will be expected to lift/move heavy objects, both to waist & shoulder height. Satisfactory completion of a manual handling course will be required (training given), and appropriate PPE provided. Full UK Driving License is required to enable travel around the Force to different locations.
