In this role you will manage the National Police Officer Assessment Centre process, on behalf of the College of Policing, and Special Constabulary recruitment. You will also support all physical fitness testing for Thames Valley Police.

 

You will have obtained a good general standard of education, and be computer literate in Microsoft Office applications. You will have Police Officer Assessment Centre (SEARCH and/or Day One) Accreditation or be committed to successfully undertake this. Proven ability to plan, organise and manage a variety of tasks whilst meeting tight deadlines is essential. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication is required along with the ability to interact and manage large groups or individual candidates. A commitment to understanding and applying Home Office Rules, Police Regulations and Statutory requirements is essential.

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice. The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner. Thames Valley Police will allow applicants to apply who do not necessarily reach the criteria as long as they have proven UK residency and supporting evidence where necessary.
