In this role you will lead and manage the provision of efficient, effective and comprehensive HR services to regional organised crime and counter terrorism units, promoting diversity and a fair, ethical and transparent culture.

You will be responsible for maintaining sufficient resourcing across regional teams and developing a specialist advisory service that complies with force and regional policy and employment legislation, particularly focussed on change management.

You will also be required to report to Senior Management Teams regarding performance, trends and recommendations, in a meaningful, timely and accurate manner.

The successful candidate will have achieved CIPD accreditation or be part qualified in a vocational qualification with a good level of generalist HR experience a similar working environment. You will have recent, relevant line management or supervisory experience and proven knowledge of and ability to apply current employment legislation and best practice across a broad HR spectrum of issues.

With good analytical skills, you will exercise personal initiative, making judgements and decisions on fairly complex issues within policy and procedural guidelines.

The successful applicant may be required to work flexible hours to suit operational requirements. An enhanced level of vetting is required.
