We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Regional Economic Crime Unit to work as part of our team. In this role, you will work closely with investigating officers supporting criminal and civil investigations with the management of disclosure and exhibits, the preparation of court files and the presentation of the investigations within the court process.

You will have experience and knowledge of the court process, and a good working knowledge of CPIA and the Attorney General Guidelines on Disclosure. You will have the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential material, be IT literate and have good communication, team working and time management skills. You will also have the ability to confidently liaise with CPS and defence teams where necessary.

You will have be able to work both independently and within a team environment, and be comfortable with working from an office and/or home. Note that the location of this role is currently in Horsham but will be relocating to Crawley in the first half of 2023, exact dates are yet to be confirmed.

Please note that this role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you may be required to travel for business purposes mainly across the south east region and occasionally throughout the UK. Therefore, the successful candidate will require a full UK driving licence.

Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC.  In order to achieve this, you must have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.
