A vacancy has arisen on Protection Group for a Security Officer to work primarily at our site in Butlers Cross near Aylesbury (HP17 0UZ). Successful candidates must demonstrate a flexible approach and work at other sites when required.

 

In this role you will provide the appropriate level of response on site in order to maintain security, verifying the right of entry by visitors in order to ensure a safe environment is afforded to those who are subject to personal protection. You will be required to work alongside authorised firearms officers.

 

You will also be required to monitor, operate and organise maintenance of technical security package including CCTV and alarms and enhance the level of patrol and rapid response to incidents and complete various administration tasks to ensure the safe and efficient running of the site.

 

Security Officers cover security 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be required to work flexibly and in a shift environment. You will also receive officer safety training, which includes de-escalation and restraint techniques, as well as first aid training.
