INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

34 hours per week with potential to increase to full time (37 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Professional Standards Department of Thames Valley Police. In this role you will lead an effective administrative function and will manage and deliver a customer focused process that seeks to identify public complaints and reduce demand on other areas of the business. This will be carried out by appropriate early intervention, quality investigation and response.

The successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication and an understanding of customer service to achieve a satisfactory outcome, including having the ability to communicate ideas and information effectively, both verbally and in writing. You will be able to demonstrate good analytical skills with effective decision making and assessment of information, including the ability to recognise and analyse threat, harm and risk and make the appropriate recommendations.

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications with the ability to embrace technological advances. You will have a willingness to develop personally and to understand complex information or legislation as well as having the ability to manage and prioritise personal workloads.
