The ICT Portfolio Management Office provides a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of organisational change and providing assurance and guidance on our portfolio of projects and programmes, as well as leading in department performance reporting. This is an exciting time for the ICT PMO, as we are moving forward with a new target operating model and new ways of working. This is an opportunity to shape and improve a maturing department in line with the organisational transformation. We are looking for someone to inspire and lead the team as well as innovate to adopt and embrace new and iterative methodologies to support and expedite delivery and quality assurance. As a pivotal area of the new operating model, we are looking to steer the PMO to have a greater focus on predictable outcomes, transparent reporting, faster delivery, and quicker realisation of benefits.

 

  • Can you demonstrate an established career in leading a Portfolio Management Office?
  • Can you challenge the status quo and embed change effectively?
  • Can you evidence your experience of aligning PMO frameworks to strategic objectives?
  • Can you demonstrate outstanding communication skills as well as experience of engaging effectively with technical staff, business users and senior stakeholders?
  • Do you have a proven track record in establishing verifiable quality measures and continuous cycles of improvement in all areas of influence?
  • Can you evidence your excellent leadership skills in creating, establishing, leading and managing high performing teams?

TVP as an employer, contribute 13.5% of pensionable pay into a member’s pension pot. You will be entitled to up 30 days of annual leave per annum, plus Bank Holidays.
