In this role you will provide financial assistance to the Accountant, participating in all aspects of financial management and accountancy. This role will specifically support Stakeholder portfolios, duties will include preparing financial calculations and costings for internal and external use, identifying and extracting data from various systems, validating / reconciling data, evaluating predicted expenditure levels, ensuring recovery of income, meeting attendance including specific Stakeholder tasks, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.

 

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, AAT Qualified (or currently undertaking), computer literate especially Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Databases, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the aptitude to deal with all levels of people both internally and externally. The ability to work independent and as part of a team, with confidence to challenge and support operational delivery through problem solving.  

 

This role requires the post holder to be enhanced vetted, with flexibility at times to travel across Thames Valley and the South East Region for meeting attendance as required.
