Location is Kidlington or Netley

The Integrated Systems Support team are responsible for a number of key policing systems. Applications are sought for a permanent position as Business Support Officer. The successful applicant will support users dealing with queries and resolving issues. They will work with stakeholders across HIOWC and TVP as well as within Surrey and Sussex to develop new processes and support organisational change through implementation. They will work with the supplier to manage development and manage product testing from end users.

  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage expectations
  • Great investigative and problem solving abilities
  • Experience of delivering work in collaboration with others; depending on the system, we support users and stakeholders across two forces, in regional partnerships or at a national level.

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice. The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner. Thames Valley Police will allow applicants to apply who do not necessarily reach the criteria as long as they have proven UK residency and supporting evidence where necessary.
