As an ICT Senior Business Partner, you will be part of a team responsible for managing the relationship between ICT and senior Force stakeholders regarding both the future direction and Business as usual operational services involving ICT. You will accountable for all ICT service provision into specific Force Business Units. You will be required to work with the wider ICT and operational policing departments to deliver quality solutions in line with business requirements. We recognise that professional progress is important and in this role, you will have the opportunity for continuous development. 

You will be able to demonstrate: 

  • Experience of understanding and articulating how the application of ICT technology impacts and benefits the Forces' Policing and business objectives and processes at Senior Officer level.
  • Enterprise level experience in ICT Management having delivered ICT service in a similarly complex environment using an industry recognised approach such as ITIL.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer focussed, team-worker, who is a flexible, adaptable, problem solver and able to work systematically and with little direct supervision.
  • Subject Matter Expert in Business Improvement Techniques for streamlining business processes which have been modelled and understood. Including error-proofing, value added assessment, process cycle time reduction, future-proofing, resilience, reliability, cost effectiveness.
