INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

Part time, 22 hours per week

In this important role you will ensure that resources are positioned to provide operational resilience, both at Force and LPA level, and in accordance with the Resource Management programme.  You will plan, schedule and deploy resources to meet the operational needs of the organisation for special operations, pre-planned events and unforeseen circumstances taking into account financial implications and the impact changes will have on individuals. 

You will have a good standard of education with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to negotiate, influence and resolve conflict. An ability to prioritise and work to deadlines is essential as well as an ability to understand complex, bespoke technology, in particular extensive use of DMS, are required together with recent experience in duty planning. Proven experience of forecasting in a shared service environment and working with workforce management software or resource planning function is desirable.
