Temporary Contract until December 2019

The overall purpose of the role is to: provide a comprehensive service in supplying uniform, equipment, printed forms and general stores items to all members of TVP in accordance with current legislation, policy and procedures.

You will be customer focused and be able to communicate verbally and in writing to customers, suppliers and other team members. You will be able to work on own initiative and work under pressure, in a flexible and responsive way individually or as part of a team. An ability to listen and communicate information concisely and effectively is essential as well as accurate and methodical working style. Good computer literacy is also required.  

You will be required to travel to different locations across the Force and undertake all assignments in a timely manner. For this reason a full UK driving licence is considered essential.

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice. The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner. Thames Valley Police will allow applicants to apply who do not necessarily reach the criteria as long as they have proven UK residency and supporting evidence where necessary.
