In this role you will work as part of a small team delivering a range of business change projects across Thames Valley and Hampshire Constabulary. The Project Support Officer responsibilities include providing a wide range of day to day support to projects and programmes, and developing and maintaining documentation to ensure that progress is made against project objectives.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, relevant project/management experience, and proven ability to make decisions and establish priorities under conflicting demands. Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills are required to work to meet deadlines. Recent experience of engaging with multiple internal / external customers and suppliers is essential, along with the ability to inform decisions and assess risk. The candidate will need to be able to understand, analyse and generate statistical and financial information in relation to projects and programmes. In the course of their work, candidates may be required to travel within the Thames Valley and Hampshire areas, and on occasion across the South East region.

Please note: Shift allowance, on-call or other job related allowances from the previous role will not be protected unless they are attached to the new role for the duration of the secondment.
