2 exciting opportunities have arisen to join the receipts and payment team. The candidates will be responsible for the day to day management and coordination of a cost effective Receipts, Procure and Payments shared service function on behalf of the whole force. Eliminate waste and inefficiency where possible and ensure the service is delivered in accordance with local and statutory regulations, instructions and policies whilst ensuring it meets business requirements to all customers and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will respond to enquiries swiftly and appropriately to match business requirements to the processes, whilst ensuring adherence to contracts and service level agreements terms and Force Regulations. Carry out specification and quotation exercises where appropriate. Analyse, collate and review results to ensure that the force is attaining value for money at all times.

You will manage the administration and reconciliation of the Force’s Imprest and Petty Cash bank accounts, the Force’s Direct Debit and Purchase Card bank accounts, by ensuring appropriate audit and financial procedures are followed and maintained. Overall responsibility for the management and production of the AP BACS and Cheque payment data runs in order to ensure suppliers are paid appropriately and timely

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice.
