In this role you will provide an effective archive service to both forces, including retention, review and disposal of records (electronic, paper, tape, microfilm and frozen samples) and other archived Force assets.

Good customer service and communications skills are required together with attention to detail and deadlines. You will be IT literate in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to manipulate data from a variety of sources and databases. Maintaining a high degree of integrity and trust is essential as you will be dealing with sensitive and classified information. A good standard of education is required with excellent numeric and literacy skills. It is essential that you have the ability to operate within narrow aisle shelving and at a height of up to 4 metres. A high degree of physical fitness is also essential as this role involves manual handling and you should be capable of repetitive lifting of crates weighing up to 20 kilos. You should be prepared to travel to other locations in both Hampshire and Thames Valley when required.
