Fixed Term Contract for up to 12 months with the potential to extend

We are looking for experienced investigators to assist police officers in the investigation of criminal offences and other incidents, and prepare case papers, ensuring file completeness and delivery in accordance with court deadlines, legislation and force policy. You will relieve front line operational police officers of administrative tasks involved with investigations including taking statements of evidence from victims of crime and witnesses along with interviewing suspects in custody.  

You will have proven experience of working within an investigatory type role, ideally with a working knowledge and experience of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice procedures.

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice.
