INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new unit that has a responsibility for delivering service improvement across the Force for the benefit of the public.  In the role you will analyse the Force’s effectiveness in managing demand, identifying and managing risk and delivering a quality of service. This will involve analysing processes and practice across a number of business areas and producing briefing papers and presentations incorporating your key findings and inferences for use in service improvement review meetings.  You will then work with the Service Improvement Advisors to facilitate improvements.

Proven research and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and problem-solve is essential to the role. You will have a degree and / or experience of analysis in a police or similar environment.  You will need excellent report-writing and presentation skills and substantial experience of using Microsoft Office.   You will also be highly motivated, with the ability to plan, manage and prioritise your own workload as you will be working to tight deadlines. 

Knowledge of a range of areas of policing and a professional qualification in analysis is desirable but not essential.
