An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ports Liaison Supervisor to work within the Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTP SE) based at Gatwick Aiport. 

You will build and maintain relationships at a strategic level with a wide range of partners, customers and other stakeholders. You will work as part of the Management team to deliver key CT Border Policing priorities. You will also be responsible for the management and direction of a number of staff across a variety of disciplines.

The successful applicant will have proven experience of managing and leading people. You will have experience working in a security conscious environment with secret and confidential material. You will also have excellent interpersonal / communication skills including the ability to negotiate and influence. Problem solving and time management skills are also essential to the role.

This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. This may include travel across the UK and is not limited to the south east. You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home. You must be prepared to be security cleared to an enhanced level.

For the purposes of safeguarding national security, applicants who do not hold or acquire appropriate security clearance and meet the nationality requirements cannot be offered the post. This post is therefore restricted to UK nationals. This is a national requirement.
