Shift pattern between 06:00 hours and 20:00 hours. One Saturday and one Sunday to be worked in each four week period.

As part of our Road Safety Team, you will be working to make a difference by helping to reduce the number of those killed and seriously injured on our roads. This will involve driving to designated locations where you will carry out speed enforcement using vehicle based equipment. The role also involves operating both static speed and red light camera enforcement equipment.  

You will have a good standard of education including excellent numeric and literacy skills. IT skills are essential together with recent experience of working within a team environment. You must be able to travel to different locations across the force and have the ability to lift heavy objects, both to waist and shoulder height. Due to the requirement to work flexibly unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working, public transport may not be available. For this reason, a full UK driving licence is essential. You will also be required to undertake the basic driving assessment.
