Furthermore, due to the nature and sensitivity of work carried out we require that candidates not only hold this vetting level but that they also undertake additional security clearances which include additional nationality checks. This post is therefore restricted to UK nationals. This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. This may include travel across the UK and is not limited to the south east. You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home.

Following induction and initial training this post will become shift based (five week shift pattern) for which there is a shift allowance; however for the duration of induction / initial training the post holder will be on the standard duties (Mon-Fridays). There is also the potential for on-call work but this is on a volunteer basis and for more experienced staff members (on-call work also attracts a 5% standby allowance).
