The South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) is a Police unit responsible for delivering specialist and niche capabilities to Thames Valley Police, Hampshire Constabulary, Surrey Police and Sussex Police. We are recruiting for a Business Change Project Manager to join our growing team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to initiate and lead the delivery of business change projects at force, bi-lateral and regional level. You will design, plan and co-ordinate all aspects of the project to ensure the effective delivery of project deliverables, leading and directing the work of project teams.

You will proactively manage engagement with stakeholders and those impacted by the change, working in collaboration with key enablers. You will be accountable to Programme Managers and project sponsors for high standards of project governance delivered throughout. You will effectively manage risk and issues within the project, initiating corrective action as appropriate and escalation to a programme level when necessary.

You will have recent and relevant experience in business change project management with proven evidence of starting up a project and successfully delivering and embedding change. We are looking for candidate with strong stakeholder engagement and good communication/influencing skills. You must hold a PRINCE2 practitioner qualification (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards the qualification.

This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. This may include travel across the UK and is not limited to the south east. You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home.
