We welcome applications from substantive Constables for an exciting role in our Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) Police Operations Room (CTPOR).   

The role will be require you to maintain clear and concise radio communications with operational surveillance teams acting as the conduit for information sharing between them and the Tactical Controller in the CTPOR. You will be required to update the CLIO log regarding surveillance activity and support deployments through identification and information sharing. You will be required to perform Observation Post duties and complete associated surveillance logs.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, often under pressure, with the ability to provide accurate and timely information. 

All necessary training and vetting will be provided.

This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as such you may be required to travel for business purposes therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. Due to the nature of the role the shifts are unpredictable, may be protracted and will often involve short notice changes. Given the small size of the team shifts may on occasions include nights and will include some weekends.

Security is of paramount importance to us due to the nature of the role. You need to be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past ten years for Developed Vetting (DV). You will be required to successfully pass and maintain this relevant security clearance in order to perform the role.
