Service Improvement Advisor
This is an exciting opportunity to join a unit that has a responsibility for delivering service improvement across the Force for the benefit of the public. In this role you will work to strategically facilitate the delivery of identified service improvement opportunities, in particular reducing demand, improving quality of service and the identification and management of risk. You will work with the Service Improvement Analysts to share expertise on specialist areas of policing.
You will be educated to degree level and/or have experience in a police or similar environment. Proven research and problem solving skills are required with the ability to think strategically and demonstrate a methodical approach and a high level of detail. Excellent interpersonal skills are required with the ability to negotiate and influence others. You will need excellent report-writing and presentation skills and substantial experience of using Microsoft Office. You will also be highly motivated, with the ability to plan, manage and prioritise your own workload as you will be working to tight deadlines. A full driving licence is considered essential as capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly.
