In this interesting role you will co-ordinate cross border collaboration meetings by setting up meetings, producing tactical documents and taking minutes. You will also provide analytical support as required to identify crime patterns and trends. As part of the role you will travel to meetings within Thames Valley Police, Metropolitan Police and Hertfordshire Police areas.

You will have proven experience of using statistical methods and an understanding of charts and tables with the ability to interpret and develop inferences from data. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise your own workload.

There is flexibility on the base location for this role but it is anticipated that it would be based in the South of the Thames Valley Police Force area.

You must have the capability to travel to different locations across the Force and undertake all assignments in a timely manner. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working, public transport may not be available or suitable at these times. For this reason a full driving licence is considered essential.

Along with all other posts in the Force CID, Intelligence and Specialist Operations departments, this role will require an enhanced level of vetting.

As part of the Thames Valley Police family you will enjoy a fantastic range of benefits including 22-30 days annual leave per annum (plus Bank Holidays), flexible working conditions, performance related pay increases, a wide range of lifestyle discounts, career development opportunities and have the option to join a local government pension scheme. Please note: Shift allowance, on-call or other job related allowances from the previous role will not be protected unless they are attached to the new role for the duration of the secondment.
