Typist - Major Crime (Part-Time)
Part-Time: 22.5 hours per week
Applications are invited for the role of Typist – Major Crime. In this role you will provide an efficient and effective typing service to the Major Crime Unit.
Your work will mainly consist of typing visually recorded interviews of suspects and witnesses therefore, you will have excellent word processing and audio typing experience along with good IT literacy and the ability to learn new packages. You will also have experience of working in a demanding office environment with the ability to recognise sensitive information and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Candidates will be asked to pass a copy typing speed and accuracy test as part of the interview process.
Along with all other posts in Force Crime, Intelligence and Specialist Operations Departments, this role will require an enhanced level of vetting.

Vetting. All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice.
