An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this dynamic and challenging department as a Duty Manager where you will be responsible for managing team members and all Contact Management Officers on duty. Ensuring that an effective and efficient service is provided to internal and external customers in accordance with relevant policies and procedures relating to 999, 101 and crime recording calls. You will be responsible for Managing and developing the Team Leaders offering guidance and support to ensure that they are performing their job function, prioritising effectively and achieving their professional objectives.

You will have recent management experience including proven problem solving and analytical skills and have experience of effective risk management. You must have proven communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate and influence customers and staff at all levels. A good standard of education including excellent numeracy and literacy skills is also essential.

Please note that there is a requirement that the successful candidate will work a 24/7 full rotating shift pattern.

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice.
