We design products and deliver services that help our officers to combat crime, protect the vulnerable and enable safer communities, making a difference that matters. Exciting challenges lie ahead -  as we transition out of our Covid-19 response, new digital technologies and alternative ways of working are transforming the way we protect our communities and bring people to justice and you can join our team and see your contributions positively impact policing our communities.

The Software Asset Manager is responsible for the definition, implementation and assurance of the software assurance strategy, making sure we are fully compliant to all licence obligations, as well as ensuring best value for money in our organisation’s software investments. This is a key role within the department, and you must work closely with all areas of the department and other enabling functions. You must be able to inspire, lead and influence others, as well as being comfortable with matrix management of resources.
