The main purpose of this role is to identify suppliers and manage an agreed portfolio of ICT contracts together with ensuring contract compliance, contract deliverables, service level agreements, legal, financial and security adherence in all third party relationships. You will proactively seek continued improvement to ICT services and make recommendations to achieve the best value for services. You will be preparing strategic sourcing plans, including delivery of contract and cost savings in line with the agreed budgets and forecast and any issues escalated accordingly.

 

Expert knowledge in Vendor management, Contract management and business planning is essential to the role. You will have strong negotiation skills, with proven experience of achieving desired results. Good knowledge and understanding of ICT systems and services implemented within the customer organisations is required. You will need working knowledge of procurement and legal systems. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role due to travelling to different locations across the Force and undertaking assignments in a timely manner. A professional qualification or management experience is considered desirable.
