This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly collaborated Contact Management Department as the Team Leader of the Resourcing and Scheduling unit for Thames Valley Police. Working closely with your counterpart in Hampshire Constabulary you will manage the departments multi-site, multi-skilled demand driven Contact Management environment, ensuring resources are aligned to demand in order to provide effective and efficient service delivery.

In addition to providing leadership and development to the team you will oversee the forecasting, planning and real time management of resources, taking into account financial implications and the impact changes will have on individuals. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering future Contact Management resource management strategies.

The successful applicant will have recent proven leadership experience, excellent IT skills (including use of Word and Excel to an intermediate level) and a proven ability to negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict through effective communication. Previous experience of resource management using workforce management systems and other skill based call routing technology is desirable.
