We welcome applications from PCs and DCs for the role of CT Nominal Management Manager (CTNM) within our new Nominal Management team.

This team has arisen through Project Semper, which has set out to deliver a number of changes to the ways that the CT Policing network and its partners approach Nominal Management; moving away from being an activity that is carried out in different ways across the network, towards being a capability that is subject to a singular governance structure and delivers enhanced outcomes by adopting consistent ways of working.

In this role, you would be responsible for day-to-day overt active management of identified nominal within the region, in partnership with others.  This means that you will ensure inter-departmental liaison and the management of tasking.  You will also be responsible for ensuring the efficient use of resources, in order to provide an effective service regional, and (where applicable) nationally.

To be successful in this role you will either be PIP 2 accredited or you will have a comprehensive police intelligence and / or investigative background.  You will also need to have some experience of managing sensitive and confidential information, with experience of managing risk. We also seek someone with excellent communication skills, who can work in partnership to creatively problem solve.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will require a full UK driving licence and be expected to drive force cars.

This post requires occasional travel across the South East region and the UK.

Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level DV.  In order to achieve this, you must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past ten years.
