Thames Valley Police Property Services Department is responsible for managing of the Force’s operational and residential property portfolio, providing a comprehensive in-house professional estates service

In this role you will be expected to co-ordinate/manage all force moves, if possible being on site whilst the moves are being progressed, and ensure that these place in a controlled and coordinated manner, and address all immediate or urgent issues arising to ensure operational performance is maintained.

Act as the deputy for the Purchasing Officer which will require the post holder to condition and reuse or dispose of surplus furniture and associated items, including the identification of surplus ICT equipment to ICT department, for subsequent reuse or for disposal.

Liaise with affected staff to collate essential information including equipment and items required to be relocated with staff, and agree an appropriate move date with the affected staff and support departments, allowing for other moves affecting the same site or in the locality to ensure efficient use of resources

Work with the others within Property Services to identify deliverable solutions for requested & approved accommodation changes and moves required as a result of planned project work.
