In this role you will monitor and operate 24 hour CCTV operations by using cameras, radios and ancillary equipment integrated into the Police control room, making appropriate pro-active and reactive decisions when required. You will assist with the detection of crime, antisocial behaviour and to support the reduction of crime, disorder and the fear of crime. Regular communication and close liaison with the Police Control Room is essential.

You will be working a 24 hours rotating shift system covering 7 days per week and must have the ability and confidence to communicate at all levels. You will be required to work alone with minimal supervision. It is essential you have good observational skills and a working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook as well as a good telephone manner.

Working hours:  37 per week covering Monday to Thursday 0800 - 0300, Friday to Saturday 0800 - 0500 and Sunday 0800 - 0200.
