Records and Logistics Administrator (Stores Assistant)
12 month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment
In this role you will provide an effective storage and logistic service to both Thames Valley Police and Hampshire Constabulary, including retention and disposal of records (exhibits, paper, tape, microfilm and frozen samples) and other archived force assets.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, be IT literate with excellent customer service skills, paying attention to detail and deadlines. A high degree of integrity and trust is required as you will be dealing with sensitive and classified information. Experience of using mechanised handling equipment such as pallet trucks, mobile steps etc is desirable along with warehouse or stores experience. Previous experience of driving fork lift reach trucks and vehicles up to 7.5 tonne gross weight is desirable, although training will be provided. The ability to operate within narrow aisle shelving and at a height of up to 4 meters is essential.
