The role

Your task will be to predominantly prepare new implementations of SharePoint for on-boarding of users. This will also involve some content migration from legacy sites, and planning of data structure in new sites. You will need to develop, test and document any solutions in accordance with high level solution designs, agreed standards and ensuring they meet business objectives. You will recommend appropriate methodologies and techniques in order to analyse and improve solution development in this specific area. You are expected to review given designs, evaluate potential solutions and undertake detailed data flows that meet design parameters and conform to technical constraints. You will be required to work with colleagues to establish timescales for project delivery as well as mentor a small group of staff within the Application Services area during delivery of solutions.

• Must be able to configure and manage both out of the box features as well as custom web parts / applications.

• Must have capability to travel to different locations across the Forces and undertake all assignments in a timely manner. For this reason a full UK driving licence is considered essential.
